In the technical college, assistant managers like Ijichi are forbidden to fight, but it is possible that Ijichi studied jujutsu spell at the college and has an abilities to fight with weak cursed spirits.

Kiyotaka Ijichi’s grade is equivalent to 3rd grade sorcerer.

The strength of Kiyotaka Ijichi is described in the “Jujutsu Kaisen Official Fan Book”, and it is said that he is strong enough to exorcise 3rd grade cursed spirits if he works hard.

In addition, in the story, there is an explanation of the grade of the sorcerer and the grade of the cursed spirits, and it is positioned as “It is natural for a second-grade sorcerer to defeat a second-grade cursed spirits“.

So Ijichi Jyotaka’s grade is equivalent to the 3rd grade, and he can’t beat a 3rd-grade cursed spirits naturally, so it can be said that his strenght is lower level among the third grade sorcerers.

Kiyotaka Ijichi’s technique is not revealed in the main story.

Basically, the assistant manager does not participate in the battle, so there is no battle scene of Ijichi.

On the other hand, during the “Night Parade of a hundered Demons” in Jujutsu Kaisen volume 0, there was a scene where he was confronted by Mimiko and Nanako, so it seems that he is willing to fight in an emergency situation.

In the official fan book, it was revealed that Ijichi has no cursed technique. It seems that he belonged to the technical college on the assumption that he would become an assistant director.

Kiyotaka Ijichi’s domain expansion

Ijichi’s domain expansion has not appeared in the main story as well as the technique, and since Ijichi does not have the technique, it is thought that he cannot handle domain expansion either.

Area expansion itself is an extremely advanced technique, and the amount of cursed energy consumed is extraordinary, so only a very limited number of sorcerers, even 1st-grade sorcerers, can handle it.

The curtain is a form of barrier technique, and by lowering it the sorcerer’s activities are hidden from the public.

Incidentally, the ability to use a barrier technique such as the curtain is not related to the strength of the sorcerer, and a higher grade does not necessarily mean a higher ability.

Ijichi is not depicted as taking part in combat, but mainly as an assistant manager who is in charge of a wide range of tasks, such as picking up and dropping off sorcerers, assigning missions, presiding over meetings and gathering other information.

Incidentally, in the free space in chapter 8 of the 2nd volume of the manga, a brief profile of Ijichi Ijichi is introduced, in which he is said to be “very good at office work”.

In the manga, there are many assistant directors such as Kiyotaka Ijichi and Akari Nitta, but among them, Ijichi seems to have high administrative skills.

Kiyotaka Ijichi is sometimes caught between the upper echelons of the jujutsu world and Satoru Gojo.

As you can vaguely imagine from the appearance of Ijichi, he is often caught between the upper management of Jujutsu world.

In particular, in the 10th chapter of the 2nd volume of the manga, Satoru Gojo was pissed off.

To be precise, Gojo was not upset with Ijichi, but with the upper echelons of the jujutsu world.

In the main story, the upper management pressured Ijichi to send the 1rst-year students of the college of technology to deal with the special grade cursed spirit, and the reason was “to kill Yuji Itadori” and “if necessary, other first-year students can die and harass Gojo”.

Gojo has a great deal of influence in the jujutsu world, as he is also a member of one of the three biggest jujtusu clans “Gojo families“.

Because of this, he is abhorred by the upper echelons and the old sorcerers, and troublesome harassment seems to be a regular occurrence.

However, because of the fear of harassing Gojo himself directly, the system seems to be insidious in many ways, such as through terminal staff members like Ijichi Jitaka.

In the novel version of Jujutsu Kaisen, Satoru Gojo and Shoko Ieiri took Ijichi out to a pub.

As mentioned above, in the main story, Yuji Itadori died in the middle of his mission.

Ijichi was frightened of Gojo, but most of all, he was very worried about the death of a student who had just joined a technical college, even though he was under pressure from the upper management, because of the mission he was assigned.

In the official novelization, it is said that Gojo and Shoko took Ijichi out to an izakaya pub to follow up on his guilty feelings.

Gojo is usually a bit of a jerk, but he’s a man who never forgets to take care of things like this.

By the way, Gojo is surprisingly not a drinker and can’t drink, while Shoko is a great drinker.
