Eso and Kechizu cornered Yuji and Nobara with their “Supreme Rot technique“, but they were turned upside down by the latter’s “Strow Doll technique, Resonance“, and both of them died in the end.

From this point onwards, Choso recognised Yuji and Nobara as his enemies, and his murderous was activated at the Shibuya Incident.

In the middle of the Shibuya Incident, in the 101st chapter of the 12th volume of the manga, Yuji and Choso met.

As soon as they met, they started a battle and Choso showed a variety of spells of the “Blood Manipulation” technique “Piercing Blood“, “Supernova” and “Flowing Red Scale“.

Thanks to Mini-Mechamaru’s strategy and other tricks, Yuji also put up a good fight, but he was defeated and fatally wounded by Choso’s many cards.

In the 106th chapter of the 12th volume of the manga, when Choso was about to attack Yuji, a “non-existent memory” flowed into his brain.

In addition to Choso, Eso and Kechizu, he also remembered seeing Yuji as one of the brothers in the group.

The memory was so vivid, yet so improbable, that he became delirious and wanders around Shibuya in a state of near insanity.

 

It was rumoured that this was some kind of technique of Yuji, but as the story progresses, it becomes more and more likely that they are really brothers.

In the 133rd chapter of the 15th volume of the manga, Geto(Kenjaku) saw the toughness of Yuji Itadori and said,

From the words “Even I’m impressed.“, it means that the “Sukuna’s vessel”, Yuji Itadori, was created by Geto(Kenjaku).

 

And from the stitching on the forehead of Yuji’s mother in chapter 143, it became clear that Yuji was made by his mother.

In other words, although the person who created Choso and Yuji is the same, they were created by Noritoshi Kamo and the mother of Yuji each, so they are half-brother.

Choso can feel his brother’s change under the influence of his technique “Blood Manipulation”.

Incidentally, in the 62nd chapter of the 8th volume of the manga, when Eso and Kechizu died, Choso was the first to sense it.

This is a side effect of his technique “Blood Manipulation“, which allows him to sense any change in his blood brother, no matter how far away he is.

In this case, he sensed the death of Eso and Kechizu, which is the biggest change in a living being, so he knew about their deaths before anyone else.

Incidentally, when Choso first appeared (in chapter 60 of volume 7 of the manga), he was wearing a bandage on his head during the conversation with his brothers.

If we imagine why he was wearing a bandage only at that time, it might be because his brain was tampered with by Geto(Kenjaku) and Mahito and his memory was altered.

The fact that he didn’t recognize Yuji as his brother at first could be due to this memory tampering.

 

By the way, Mahito had already done something similar to this with their modified humans.

In the 20th chapter of the 3rd volume of the manga, Shoko Ieiri said that “there are traces of torment around the brain stem“, so they must had been experimenting with modified humans.

Maybe Mahito learned how to torment the brain after the experiment with the modified human and gave it to Choso.

And in the 135th chapter of the 16th volume of the manga, Choso, who has become the “big brother protecting his younger brother”, attacked Kenjaku and Uraume with the “Blood Manipulation“.

Although he is also quite exhausted from the battle against Yuji, his intense brotherly love was already directed towards Yuji.

 

During the battle with Yuji, he was a strong opponent and a dignified character who loves his brother, but before long he has become an interesting character who calls out the word “I’m your older brother” repeatedly.
